Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachchan dropped a picture with son Abhishek Bachchan and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar from the ISPL 2024 final on Saturday amidst unconfirmed reports of his hospitalisation for an angioplasty going viral on social media.
“What a humbling experience this evening at the ISPL FINALS, to have spent time with the GREAT SACHIN .. and to learn and admire his incredible knowledge about Cricket,” the 81-year-old actor wrote on Instagram alongside the picture which shows the trio in conversation at Dadoji Kondadev Stadium in Thane on Friday.
The picture shows Amitabh and Abhishek listening to Sachin with rapt attention as the three of them sit at the stands.
The 2024 Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) final was played between Tigers of Kolkata and Majhi Mumbai. Tigers of Kolkata clinched the title by beating Majhi Mumbai in the T-20 match.
Reports of Amitabh’s hospitalisation at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital, purportedly for an angioplasty, went viral on Friday. However, there was no confirmation from the hospital authorities.
On the work front, Amitabh will be next seen in Kalki 2898 AD alongside Kamal Haasan, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. He also has Vettaiyan co-starring Rajinikanth, Section 84, and a Hindi remake of The Intern in the pipeline.
