The Star of the Millennium Amitabh Bachchan celebrated his 80th birthday on October 11.

Quite justifiably as is the norm, Big B was flooded with wishes - right from his family to colleagues to political leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and millions of well wishers and fans.

Knowing the actor and the humble attitude he carries, it was a given that he would express his gratitude to the ones who wishes him on his special day.

The megastar did thank some individuals personally yet, he didn't do away with the fact that he could not thank all one-on-one.

And here he goes, "Thanks, to all those who wished me on my birthday! I am sorry I will not be able to reply everyone personally! But your affection will always be with me!"

That's Big B' s message on social media.

And he also wrote, "T 4436 - To them that have given me the immense love affection and wishes for the 11th, my birthday , I express my gratitude in measures beyond all else .. I cannot reply to all .. but all remain in my heart and soul .."

The Shehenshah is a regular on social media and keeps posting pictures which are lapped up by his followers.

On the work front, Big B's Goodbye has released to encouraging reviews and he has quite a few plum projects in hand including Sooraj Barjatiya's Uunchai.
