The Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai actress often shares videos of her travels and has recently found a fanbase with her ‘Throwback Weekends’, where she shares pictures and videos of her personal and professional life in the early 2000s. Starting off with her first ever ‘Throwback Weekend’, Ameesha shared a photo of the first day of shoot from the sets of her debut film, Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. There, she met the late Jagjit Singh, who had come down to wish her luck. The ghazal maestro was also her godfather.

Here’s Ameesha celebrating with co-star Hrithik Roshan before the start of their shoot for Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, at her childhood home in south Bombay. Both the actors’ families and friends had come together to mark the launch of their Bollywood debut.

The Gadar actress shared a candid picture of her and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan from when the two were chief guests at a show.

One of Ameesha’s most liked ‘throwback weekend’ pictures is with a young Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri. Ameesha described Shah Rukh as “one of the most charming and witty men you can come across”.

The actress also shared a memory of her Yeh Hai Jalwa co-star Salman Khan from their first world tour. They had travelled the United States and Canada for 50 days non-stop.

From seven years ago, Ameesha shared a picture of Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at her office. Anil Kapoor and director David Dhawan had dropped by for the evening aarti and darshan.

RRR actor Jr Ntr was Ameesha’s co-star in the 2005 film, B. Gopal’s Narasimhudu. The actress shared her gratitude for getting a chance to work with him and called him a “lovely co star…hardworking and humble”. The Telugu film also starred Sameera Reddy as Palakad Papa.
