Amazon miniTV’s comedy-drama series Yeh Meri Family is set to return with a fresh cast on May 19, the makers of the TVF show have announced.

Juhi Parmar, who makes her OTT debut with the series, called it a light-hearted story that will take the audience on an emotional ride and also make them smile.

“It’s a beautiful light-hearted story. I love being a part of content that is relatable and makes one's heart smile and this is such a story. I'm looking forward to my audience's reaction to seeing me in a new avatar on a completely new medium as I continue to experiment with content that is progressive and well made," said Juhi, who plays a strict but caring mother on the show.

Rajesh Kumar, who plays the easy-breezy father, said, “A wave of nostalgia hit me when I finished reading the script. I was in my teens during the ’90s and I could relate with all the highlights in the story perfectly.”

Rajesh’s character is a throwback to the scooter-riding father figure of the ’90s. “The audience will appreciate the hard work and the relatable narrative that we ourselves are excited to watch with our families.”

The show, available to watch for free on Amazon miniTV from May 19, will mix fun with a bit of familial conflict to bring back the vibe of ’90s daily soaps.
