Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh recently took some time off in between shots for their upcoming film Alpha to pose together in a picturesque location in Kashmir, shows a photo shared by the Heart of Stone actress on Friday.
“Love, ALPHA,” Alia captioned the photo that shows the two Bollywood stars standing with their backs to the camera and forming a heart shape with their arms. The duo are seen in the backdrop of a misty forest and a flowing river.
Sharvari, too, shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the shoot, capturing a peaceful morning moment with a cup of coffee and a view of faraway mountains and lush greenery. “Morning,” she wrote in the caption with a sun emoji.
Directed by Shiv Rawail, known for the Netflix series The Railway Men (2023), Alpha is the first female-led spy film backed by Yash Raj Films (YRF). Alia had announced the film in July with a teaser video.
YRF has been churning out hits with movies set in its spy universe, which includes films like Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Hrithik Roshan’s War (2019) and Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan (2023).
On the work front, Sharvari recently grabbed headlines for her stellar performance in Nikhil Advani’s Vedaa, Aditya Sarpotdar’s Munjya and the Junaid Khan-led historical drama Maharaj. Alia recently completed filming for her home banner Eternal Sunshine Productions’s third project, Jigra, which is slated to hit theatres on September 27.
