The makers also shared a poster featuring a rifle-wielding Allu Arjun.

The trailer, dropped on Sunday, features an epic showdown between Allu’s Pushpa Raj and Fahadh Faasil’s SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. Pushpa has expanded his sandalwood smuggling syndicate over the years, and is now operating at a global level.

The two-minute-48-second-long video further offers a glimpse at actress Sreeleela’s much-talked-about dance number Kissik. Clad in a black lehenga, ‘dancing queen’ Sreeleela sets the dance floor ablaze with her electrifying steps.

The video also hints at Pushpa’s sizzling chemistry with Rashmika Mandanna’s Srivalli.

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 is the sequel to Allu’s 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise, which became a massive box-office success across India.

Pushpa: The Rise starred Allu as Pushpa Raj, a lorry driver rising through the ranks of a red sandalwood smuggling syndicate. Rashmika played Pushpa’s love interest, Srivalli, a milk seller whom he married towards the end of the film. Released on December 17, 2021, the film grossed approximately Rs 350 crore worldwide, thereby emerging as the highest-grossing Indian film that year.

The music for Pushpa 2: The Rule has been scored by Devi Sri Prasad, while Miroslaw Kuba Brozek has handled the cinematography.

Pushpa 2: The Rule is slated to hit theatres on December 5.
