Actor Allu Arjun took fans on a virtual tour of Pushpa - The Rise sets at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad on Wednesday via an Instagram reel, which also offered a sneak peek into his garden and the place where the 41-year-old star enjoys his morning coffee.
The video shows Allu transforming into Pushpa Raj as he rides a Royal Enfield motorcycle to a sandalwood mill and then poses in front of a truck. With this video, Allu has become the first Indian actor to collaborate with Meta-owned image sharing platform Instagram.
The reel starts with the National Award winner waking up at his home in Hyderabad and talking about his morning routine. Then he goes to Ramoji Film City to shoot for the sequel of 2021’s Telugu-language action drama. He also interacts with the fans and calls his children the “centre of his universe” during the car ride.
He shows the costume he’s going to wear, followed by his makeup routine which incorporates the scar on his face from Pushpa - The Rise. We then see him in a discussion with director Sukumar, who describes the actor as “first love”. He also shows Pushpa Raj’s woodcutting tools. Allu aces the iconic walk of the character during the shoot
“If there’s one thing about Pushpa that I really like, it’s his never-give-up character,” says Allu, thanking Instagram for the collaboration and asking fans to watch Pushpa 2 -The Rule.
