Allu Arjun struck his signature Pushpa pose with his new wax statue at Madame Tussauds Museum in Dubai after its unveiling on Thursday.
Dressed in a red blazer and black pants, the statue shows Allu striking his ‘Jhukega Nahi Sala’ pose from the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise. The actor sported the same outfit while visiting the museum for the unveiling ceremony and emulated the same pose.
“There you go . #thaggedhele #madametussaudsdubai,” the National Award-winning actor wrote alongside a picture of him posing with the statue.
A video shared by the official Instagram page of the museum shows Allu standing in front of a screen before it is slowly removed to reveal the statue. It also revealed Allu’s daughter Arha, who was striking the Pushpa pose behind the screen to impress her father. Allu burst out laughing seeing his daughter and joined her to strike the iconic pose with the statue.
“Allu Arjun, Icon Star, the King of Dance, has arrived at Madame Tussauds Dubai,” the museum officials wrote alongside a picture, which makes it difficult to tell the statue from the real actor.
Allu took to his Instagram stories and shared a picture with the statue from the back side before its unveiling. “The launch of Madame Tussauds’ wax statue today… It’s a milestone moment for every actor. Grateful,” he wrote in the caption.
The day was even more special for Allu as his first movie Gangotri was released in theatres exactly 21 years ago. “It’s a very spl day today 🖤 . My 1st movie #Gangotri was released today in 2003 & today I am launching my Wax statue at #madametussauds dubai,” the actor wrote on Instagram, thanking his fans for their “ardent love and support” in his journey.
On the workfront, Allu will reprise his role as Pushpa Raj in the sequel Pushpa 2: The Rule, slated to release on August 15. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and directed by Sukumar, the film also stars Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles.
