According to industry data tracker Sacnilk, on its second Monday (Day 12), Pushpa 2 recorded its lowest single-day domestic collection so far, earning Rs 27.75 crore nett. However, this minor dip has done little to dampen its overall performance. The Sukumar-directed sequel to Pushpa: The Rise has amassed Rs 929.85 crore nett at the domestic box office in 12 days.

The film ended its first week with Rs 725.8 crore nett in India and maintained a stronghold in its second weekend, raking in Rs 63.3 crore nett on Saturday and Rs 76.6 crore nett on Sunday.

The film’s occupancy levels also remained robust, with Telugu-language occupancy at 24.11 per cent and Hindi occupancy at 21.26 per cent on Monday. The Hindi-dubbed version has contributed significantly to the film’s record-breaking streak, having crossed the Rs 500-crore mark, making it the fastest Indian film to achieve this feat. It surpassed the previous record held by Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, which took 18 days to reach the same milestone.

Pushpa 2: The Rule features Allu Arjun reprising as Pushpa Raj, a red sandalwood smuggler tackling challenges to expand his business while fighting against a cop (played by Fahadh Faasil). Rashmika Mandanna reprises her role as Pushpa’s wife Srivalli in this sequel.
