Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule has emerged as the fastest Indian film to cross the Rs 1,500-crore mark at the global box office, the makers announced on Thursday.
The Sukumar-directed sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise has grossed Rs 1,508 crore worldwide in just 14 days.

Pushpa 2: The Rule was a box-office success globally right from the day of its release on December 5. The film crossed the Rs 600-crore mark within the first three days and surpassed the Rs 900-crore milestone by Day 5. By the end of its first week, it had already broken the Rs 1,000-crore barrier. On day 11, Pushpa 2 soared past the Rs 1,400-crore milestone.
Pushpa 2 has been on a roll domestically too. It minted Rs 725.8 crore nett in the first week across all languages, followed by Rs 264.9 crore nett in Week 2. This takes the total domestic collection of the Allu Arjun-starrer to Rs 990.7 crore nett in India so far.
The Hindi version of Pushpa 2 has contributed Rs 621.6 crore nett to the collections, followed by the Telugu version (Rs 295.6 crore nett). The Tamil version fetched Rs 52.4 crore nett, while the Kannada and Malayalam versions contributed Rs 7.13 crore nett and Rs 13.97 crore nett, respectively.
Pushpa 2: The Rule continues the story of Pushpa Raj (Allu Arjun), a red sandalwood smuggler, and his conflict with police officer Bhanwar Singh Shekawat (Fahadh Faasil). Rashmika Mandanna reprises her role as Pushpa’s wife Srivalli in this instalment.
