The 10th feature film of National Awardwinning director Atanu Ghosh, Aaro Ek Prithibi gets its theatrical release on February 3. On Tuesday afternoon, actordirector Kaushik Ganguly, noted Bangladeshi actor Tasnia Farin, Anindita Bose, Shaheb Bhattacherjee, and filmmaker Atanu Ghosh gathered at Soul The Sky Lounge for a press conference.

Produced by Eskay Movies, Aaro Ek Prithibi narrates the story of four people — Pratiksha, Srikanto, Ayesha, and Aritro — who find themselves in some kind of crisis in London, thousands of miles away from their homes. Fear and tension surround them as they risk becoming homeless after losing everything. The film introduces Tasnia Farin as Pratiksha who has been on the run since an early age and her journey of finding herself a home brings her to London and thereafter a number of different worlds appear before her in her journey for survival.

Speaking about the movie, the writer and director Atanu Ghosh said, “Many people are on the run throughout their lives, desperately seeking a place to settle down, and live peacefully and securely. But in this rootless age, the concept of home has become tarnished and elusive. Pratiksha, 27, finds her life trapped in a vortex of lies, deceit, and danger in London. She traverses from one world to the other, meeting an intriguing and mysterious Ayesha (Anindita Bose), an unpredictable bohemian, Srikanta Munshi (Kaushik Ganguly) and a rashly impulsive Aritro Chatterjee (Shaheb Bhattacherjee) ready to play the dice with his own life! Ultimately, the four characters have no option but to face the most challenging encounter of their lives.”
