Alia Bhatt, Kiara Advani, Ananya Panday, Kajol and Ayushmann Khurrana were among the Bollywood celebrities who congratulated Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal on their wedding on Sunday.

“Congratulations Sona and Zaheer! You two look so full of love and joy! Big big hug and welcome to the clubbbbb,” Alia wrote on her Instagram Story, sharing a picture of Zaheer kissing Sonakshi’s hand at their wedding ceremony.

Alia, who made her Hollywood debut with Tom Harper’s Heart of Stone last year, is set to star in Jigra alongside Vedang Raina.

Kiara took to her Instagram Story and wrote, “Congratulations @aslisona and @iamzahero. Wishing you both a lifetime of love, happiness and togetherness.”

The 31-year-old actress last appeared in Satyaprem Ki Katha alongside Kartik Aaryan. She has the films Game Changer and War 2 in the pipeline.

Ananya, who last appeared in the Netflix coming-of-age film Kho Gaye Hum Kaha, wrote, “only and only love.”

Parineeti, who tied the knot with politician Raghav Chadha last year, wrote, “Congratulations you two! Welcome to the club. Wish you both all the happiness.” The actress last starred in Imtiaz Ali’s Netflix film Amar Singh Chamkila alongside Diljit Dosanjh.

Kajol, who was present at the wedding venue on Sunday, shared a video of the wedding celebrations. Sonakshi, dressed in a red sari, danced with Kajol and her friends. Zaheer also joined them. “Happy happy happy @aslisona And @iamzahero wish u guys one ton of happy and joy,” Kajol wrote.

Ayushmann also congratulated the couple on the joyous occasion.

Sonakshi and Zaheer tied the knot on Sunday at a private ceremony in the presence of family and close friends.

“On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife. Here’s to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever. Sonakshi ♾️ Zaheer 23.06.2024,” Sonakshi wrote alongside pictures from their wedding day.

The couple didn’t confirm their relationship publicly, but were often spotted attending events, birthday parties and social gatherings together.
