Actress-producer Alia Bhatt made her Paris Fashion Week debut on Monday as French cosmetics giant L’Oréal Paris’ ambassador, turning heads in a metallic Gaurav Gupta corset. The fashion gala was also attended by actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
A video shared by a fan account shows Alia looking gorgeous in the metallic outfit during L'Oreal Paris’ Walk Your Worth show. The actress paired the silver bustier with a black off-shoulder jumpsuit. She accessorised her look with chunky rectangular hoops.
Alia, who was recently named L’Oréal Paris’ new global ambassador, walked the runway alongside American actress Andie MacDowell during the show. Photos shared by a fan account capture the duo posing together on stage.
Earlier this month, the renowned beauty brand announced on Instagram, “Empowered, Inspired, Unstoppable. We are thrilled to welcome Alia Bhatt as the new global ambassador of L’Oréal Paris.”
They also shared pictures of Alia in a dusty pink suit, paired with a white tee bearing the brand’s tagline “I’m worth it”. An advertisement featuring the 31-year-old actress was released on social media by the beauty brand later that day.
Meanwhile, Aishwarya, a long-time ambassador for L'Oréal Paris, looked elegant in a flowing satin red gown. She opted for bold red lips and winged eyeliner to complement her look. Aishwarya wore her hair down and balanced her look with minimal accessories.
A video from the event, shared by a fan account, shows Aishwarya enjoying a conversation with Suicide Squad actress Cara Delevingne, Flamin' Hot helmer Eva Longoria and Bridgerton star Simone Ashley.
Ashley, also an ambassador for L'Oréal Paris, later walked the ramp in a shimmery, silver column gown featuring a thigh-high slit.
Paris Fashion Week 2024 – Womenswear Spring/Summer 2025 kicked off in Paris on September 23 and is scheduled to end on October 1.
Earlier this year, Aishwarya represented L'Oréal Paris at the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival in France. For her first appearance, the actress donned a black-and-white corseted gown with gold accents and a dramatic train.
In another look, the 50-year-old actress wore an embellished column gown featuring massive fringes and a floor-sweeping train.
On the work front, Aishwarya was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan: II (2023). Alia, on the other hand, has Vasan Bala’s Jigra, YRF Spy Universe’s Alpha and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War in the pipeline.
