Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan were among the Bollywood celebrities who wished Karan Johar on his 52nd birthday on Saturday.
Sharing an unseen picture with Karan from her Haldi ceremony, Alia wrote, “Happy birthday to the most loving, generous, and pure soul... my K! No words are enough to tell you how much I love you.”
The actress starred in Karan’s 2023 film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani alongside Ranveer Singh and is set to appear next in his production Jigra opposite Vedang Raina.
Kareena, who recently starred in heist comedy Crew alongside Kriti Sanon and Tabu, dropped two pictures to wish the filmmaker. “On your birthday, I am giving you two tickets to Legoland, You and me. That's how much I love you... Happy Birthday my Kjo,” she wrote in the caption for the first picture, while the caption for the second picture reads, “There is no one like you, love you forever.”
Kiara, on the other hand, shared a video in which she poses as Karan’s Madame Tussauds wax statue. “Happy Happy Birthday Karan, Love You Loads. Gifting you your very own statue,” she wrote.
Kiara’s husband Sidharth Malhotra, who recently starred in Karan’s Dharma Productions-backed Yodha, shared a picture taken during a photoshoot after an episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8. “Happy Birthday, Karan Johar. Wishing you a year filled with love and excellent health. Big Hug,” he captioned the photo.
Arjun Kapoor had a special message for Karan. He integrated some of Karan’s hit films into his birthday wish and wrote, “May you have all the Khushi in your life with no gham, and only Good Newwz and happiness around. Tum yun he Jug Jugg Jeeyo hamare filmon ke Shershaah. Happiest birthday, Karan Johar.”
“To the man who weaves magic on the silver screen and beyond, Happy birthday Karan. May your day be as blockbuster as your movies! Cheers to more cinematic brilliance,” wrote Rakul Preet Singh, who recently tied the knot with actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani.
To wish Karan, Varun shared a never-before-seen picture with the filmmaker and his son Yash. “Karannnn ur the funniest most intelligent human being i know with the largest heart. Love you always, no conditions apply,” he wrote.
Raveena Tandon shared a set of pictures with the birthday boy and penned a heartfelt note. “Happppy happy Birthday @karanjohar ! Love and success Forever and Everrr! May we always be “18 till we fly,” she wrote alongside the pictures featuring Rekha, Kajol and Manish Malhotra.
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty also shared an unseen picture with Karan to wish him on the latter’s day.
On the work front, Karan is all set to co-produce Vasan Bala’s thriller Jigra starring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, slated to release in September. He also announced that he will soon return to the director’s chair with a new project.
