Actress Alia Bhatt on Thursday announced that she will launch a new collection of nursing clothes for pregnant women and new mothers under her existing maternity wear line Edamamma.
The 29-year-old, who became a mother in November last year, took to Instagram to announce that the new collection, designed to make “nursing easier”, will be out on Friday.
“When we launched maternity-wear last year, we received multiple requests for nursing clothes. So we've created a line of garments for all mammas, designed to make nursing easier. These are clothes to live in - through your pregnancy and beyond,” Alia wrote on Instagram alongside a collage of nursing outfits from Edamamma.
The Darlings actress had left fans wondering about her announcement with a cryptic post on Thursday. She shared a photo of her holding flowers and wrote, “2.0 Stay Tune”.
Alia is set for her Hollywood debut opposite Gal Gadot in the upcoming Netflix film Heart of Stone. The Tom Harper directorial will be premiering on the streaming platform on August 11, 2023.
