Actress Alia Bhatt has hit back at trolls for making fun of her empty and transparent Gucci bag worth around Rs 2.43 lakh with a subtle response to the comments in her latest Instagram post.
Alia was trolled for carrying an empty Gucci Jackie 1961 bag during the Gucci Cruise 2024 fashion show in Seoul, South Korea — her first official excursion with the Italian luxury house as the Indian global ambassador for the brand.
Sharing her pictures from the May 16 event on Instagram, the actress wrote, “yes the bag was empty 🤓,” in reaction to the flurry of comments on her bag after her pictures from the event were shared online by different platforms.
The event was also attended by several international celebrities including K-pop singer Hanni and actress Dakota Johnson.
Alia wore a black dress with polka dot cut-outs paired with black platform heels and the iconic Gucci Jackie 1961 transparent bag. Her look was topped off with glass skin makeup, bold eyeliner and a middle-parted ponytail.
Alia’s global trot is likely to continue with the actress making international headlines for debuting at the MET Gala this year. She will be seen making her Hollywood debut in Heart of Stone opposite Gal Gadot this year as well.
