Alia Bhatt drops daughter Raha’s birthday photo with Ranbir Kapoor: ‘Happy birthday, baby tiger’

Hrithik Roshan, Dia Mirza, Bipasha Basu and Zoya Akhtar also wished the baby girl on her first birthday

Bollywood star Alia Bhatt dropped pictures of her baby daughter Raha along with an emotional note on the occasion of the toddler’s first birthday on November 6.

Also speaking for her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, the 30-year-old actress addressed Raha as “Our joy, our life.. our light!” Alia recalled how she and Ranbir would play the French song La Vie en rose for the baby when Raha wasn’t even born yet. “It feels like just yesterday we were playing this song for you while you were in my tummy kicking away.”

Without revealing Raha’s face, Alia’s first picture shows the baby girl smashing a cream cake with her tiny hands. In the second photo, Alia, Ranbir and Raha hold marigold flowers in their hands. Alia also shared a video of her playing La Vie en rose on a little music box.

“There's nothing to say, only that we’re blessed to have you in our lives,” Alia wrote in her note for her daughter, adding that Raha’s presence in their lives makes every day a “full creamy yummy delicious piece of cake”.

The Darlings star concluded her note by wishing Raha on her birthday. “Happy birthday baby tiger .. we love you more than love itself ✨☀️🐼💕🌸👨‍👩‍👧.”

Actors Hrithik Roshan, Dia Mirza, Bipasha Basu and filmmaker Zoya Akhtar wished Raha in the comments.

Ranbir’s mother, Neetu Kapoor, took to her Instagram Stories and shared a heartfelt note for Raha. “...and just like that, she turned 1. Happy 1st birthday my precious doll Raha. We love you to the moon and back,” she wrote.

Alia’s mother, Soni Razdan, also penned a note on the occasion for her granddaughter. “Seems like just yesterday that you came into our world. Can’t believe it’s already been a whole year! Happy birthday darling Raha.”

The proud grandmothers also posed together on the occasion. Soni sported a white cinched dress, while Neetu went for a deep yellow shirt and trouser. “Don’t mess wit us cause we’s d ganmas ok,” Soni captioned the photo posted on her Instagram Stories.
