Actor couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor threw an animal-themed party to celebrate daughter Raha Kapoor’s second birthday on Wednesday. The event in Mumbai was attended by Raha's grandparents, Soni Razdan, Neetu Kapoor and Mahesh Bhatt, along with her aunt Pooja Bhatt.
Pooja took to Instagram to share glimpses of the celebration. The photos feature a green ombre cake adorned with animal figurines. The venue was decorated with colourful balloons, tree and fern simulations, and panda and monkey statues. A tattoo stand was also set up at the event.
In one of the pictures, Mahesh Bhatt smiles for the camera, flanked by Micky and Minnie Mouse.
Soni Razdan also posted a picture with other celebrity guests present at the event, including Neetu Kapoor, Neena Gupta and entrepreneur Anu Ranjan. “When your gang shows up for you,” wrote Soni, sharing the photo on Instagram on Wednesday.
Alia and Ranbir tied the knot on April 14, 2022, in a traditional Hindu ceremony in Mumbai. Later that year, on November 6, Alia gave birth to Raha.
On the work front, Ranbir is gearing up for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. The first instalment of this mythological epic is slated to hit screens on Diwali 2026, with the second part following the next Diwali.
Alia is set to headline YRF Spy Universe’s first female-led film Alpha, co-starring Sharvari Wagh. The 31-year-old actress last appeared in Vasan Bala’s Jigra alongside Vedang Raina.
