Recently released Panchayat Season 3 has a hidden clue for Mirzapur’s upcoming instalment, actor Ali Fazal, who is set to reprise his role as Guddu Pandit in Prime Video’s hit crime thriller, has said in response to a fan’s post on X (formerly Twitter).
A fan tagged Fazal and asked if skipping the third season of Panchayat — another Amazon Prime Video series that dropped earlier this week — would be acceptable. The tweet read, “Panchaayat nahi dekhunga toh chalega kya? Waiting for Mirzapur actually @alifazal9 ”.
In his response, Fazal shared the fan’s post and wrote, “Watch Panchayat , it has a big hidden clue for MIRZAPUR SEASON 3 #msw3 @PrimeVideoIN”.
Created by The Viral Fever, Panchayat is a village comedy series featuring Jitendra Kumar as a city-bred young man who lands a job as the secretary of a village called Phulera. Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Sanvikaa, Chandan Roy, Durgesh Kumar, Ashok Pathak, Faisal Malik, and Sunita Rajwar also feature in key roles on the show.
The third season of Panchayat dropped on Amazon Prime Video on May 28.
Mirzapur, an action thriller created by Karan Anshuman, features Pankaj Tripathi, Shweta Tripathi Sharma and Rasika Dugal alongside Fazal. Divyenndu and Vikrant Massey were part of the show in the previous seasons but their characters have died.
Mirzapur, produced by Excel Entertainment, is slated to arrive on Amazon Prime Video later this year.
