Actor couple Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha are expecting their first child together, they announced on Friday via an Instagram post.
“A tiny heartbeat is the loudest sound in our world,” Ali wrote in the caption, revealing the news alongside two images. Friends and family members congratulated the couple on this joyous occasion.
The first picture shows the digits "1 + 1 = 3" written across it, while the couple look into each other's eyes in the second picture as an emoji of a pregnant girl appears on the bottom right corner.
After having met on the sets of the 2012 film Fukrey and dating for 10 years, Ali and Richa had tied the knot in October 2022.
The couple recently made their debut production with Shuchi Talati’s film Girls Will Be Girls, which bagged the Audience Award for World Cinema Dramatic Competition Sundance Film Festival 2024. The film’s lead actor Preeti Panigrahi won the World Cinema Dramatic Special Jury Award for Acting at the festival.
While Ali recently appeared in Ric Roman Waugh’s Kandahar alongside Gerard Butler and Travis Fimmel, Richa last starred in the third instalment of Fukrey alongside Ali.
