Akshay Kumar’s Mission Raniganj dominated the race between new Bollywood releases with a collection of Rs 12.15 crore nett in India till Sunday, leaving behind Bhumi Pednekar-starrer Thank You For Coming’s total earnings of Rs 4.22 crore nett at the end of Day 3.
Avnish Barjatya-helmed Dono tanked at the box office with a meagre collection of approximately Rs 1 crore nett till Sunday.
Mrighdeep Singh Lamba-helmed Fukrey 3 emerged as the 14th Hindi film released in 2023 to have breached the Rs 75-crore mark at the domestic box office in its second weekend. Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Pathaan did it in two days, as did Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 and Prabhas-starrer Adipurush. Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan joined the club in three days, while Ranbir Kapoor’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar took four days to reach the mark.
Featuring Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Richa Chadha and Manjot Singh, Fukrey 3 raked in Rs 4.30 crore nett on Sunday, taking its total collection to Rs 76.15 crore nett since its release on September 28.
