A gun-toting Akshay Kumar jumps off a helicopter in an all-black outfit in his first-look poster from Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film Singham Again, dropped by the filmmaker on Sunday.
The 56-year-old actor will be reprising his role as ATS chief Sooryavanshi from the 2021 movie of the same name. In the upcoming movie, Sooryavanshi will join hands with Ajay Devgn’s Singham.
Sharing the poster on Instagram to mark the two-year anniversary of Sooryavanshi, Rohit wrote, “In Singham Again, we are just doing what our fans want us to do! So here it is…Akshay Kumar and a helicopter! As we complete 2 years of Sooryavanshi, VEER SOORYAVANSHI joins the battle with Singham. #SinghamAgain.”
In the picture, Akshay looks dapper in a black full-sleeved t-shirt and cargo pants, reminding fans of his bold and determined character. Flames erupt in the background as he holds guns with his arms stretched out while jumping from a helicopter.
Akshay also shared the poster on his social media page. “‘Aila re aila, #Sooryavanshi aila’ Time for ATS Chief Veer Sooryavanshi’s entry. Are you ready?” he wrote alongside the poster.
Ajay, too, took to his Instagram to share the poster. “Mana kiya tha phir bhi helicopter se hi aaya mera dost Sooryavanshi 😁,” he captioned it.
Shetty’s Ajay Devgn-starrer Singham Again is the latest film in his popular cop thriller franchise Singham, which began with the 2014 film Singham Returns. Alongside Ajay and Akshay, the film features Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Tiger Shroff.
