Akshay Kumar and his Heyy Babyy co-stars, Riteish Deshmukh and Fardeen Khan, recently recreated the iconic hook step from the theme song of their 2007 comedy. The trio also performed the Hauli Hauli dance steps from Akshay’s upcoming film Khel Khel Mein ahead of its August 15 release.

"When Heyy Babyy meets Hauli Hauli We had a blast doing this khel khel mein. Now you guys create your reels with your friends on #HauliHauli, share with us, and we’ll reshare the best ones," wrote Akshay, sharing the video on Instagram on Tuesday.

The video captures Akshay, Riteish and Fardeen dancing first to Heyy Babyy and then to Hauli Hauli.

Netizens immediately reacted to the video with enthusiasm. "Iconic trio," wrote one social media user, while another commented, "Happy to see Fardeen Khan back again. Honestly, he is really a good actor."

Released by record label T-Series last month, the Hauli Hauli music video shows Akshay and Fardeen recreating their signature step from Heyy Babyy 17 years after the film’s 2007 release.

With Khel Khel Mein, Akshay and Fardeen reunite for the first time since the release of Sajid Khan’s Heyy Babyy. Helmed by Pati Patni Aur Woh filmmaker Mudassar Aziz, the upcoming family drama also stars Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Aditya Seal, Pragya Jaiswal and Ammy Virk.

Akshay last shared screen space with Taapsee in the 2019 film Mission Mangal. The actor reunites with Vaani after their 2021 action film Bell Bottom.

Khel Khel Mein is slated to hit theatres on August 15.
