Akshay Kumar has dropped a hilarious video featuring his Bade Miyan Chote Miyan co-star Tiger Shroff as a Holi reveller, prompting funny reactions from their social media followers including Ayushmann Khurrana, Varun Dhawan and Kapil Sharma.
“Bura na mano, Holi hai,” Akshay captioned his post on Instagram on Monday.
The video shows Akshay stepping out of a building and walking through a garden until he comes across Tiger, hiding at a turning. The latter had been waiting for Akshay with a bucket of coloured water in hand. Prepared for just such an encounter, Akshay pulls out a coconut from his pocket as a mock threat to hit Tiger if he attempts to splash the water on him. Accepting defeat, Tiger pours it on himself and the video ends with the two actors exchanging Holi greetings.
While the Selfiee actor sported a yellow vest and white trousers, Tiger flaunted his ripped body in black trousers. Snippets from Akshay’s 2005 track Do Me a Favour Let’s Play Holi played in the background.
Actors Kapil Sharma, Ayushmann Khurrana and Varun Dhawan also reacted to the video. “Na Real Holi,” commented Ayushmann, while Varun replied with a laughing emoji. “He said try it n u will see the power of coconut happy holi guys,” commented popular social media personality Kili Paul.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, also starring Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist, features Akshay and Tiger in the roles of Indian soldiers, determined to protect their country from threats of any kind. Sonakshi Sinha and Manushi Chhillar, the winner of Miss World 2017 pageant, will also play key roles in the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial.
Produced by Pooja Entertainment and AAZ Films, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is a fresh take on the David Dhawan-helmed 1998 film starring Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda. The film will clash with the Ajay Devgn-starrer Maidaan, also scheduled to release on Eid.
