Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s action-thriller Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will release in Indian theatres on April 11 and in the UAE on April 10 to mark the occasion of Eid, the actors announced via an Instagram reel from Abu Dhabi on Monday.
“Bade aur Chote aur poori Bade Miyan Chote Miyan ki team ki taraf se aap sab ko advance mein Eid Mubarak. Dekhiye #BadeMiyanChoteMiyan on Eid with your entire family, now releasing on 11th April only in cinemas,” Akshay captioned the video.
In the video, Akshay said that they were invited by the UAE’s minister of tolerance, Sheikh Nahyan, for an iftar during their stay in the country. “Bohut accha laga, bohut mazaa aaya (Really liked it, had a lot of fun),” Akshay said, mentioning that they came to know at the event that the UAE will celebrate Eid on April 10.
Written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Sonakshi Sinha.
Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani, Himanshu Kishan Mehraa and Zafar, the film is a fresh take on the David Dhawan-helmed 1998 film of the same name starring Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will be released in theatres in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
