After a theatrical run of 42 days, Ajay Devgn-starrer Maidaan is now available to rent on Prime Video for Rs 349.
Once rented, the user will have 30 days to watch the period sports drama directed by Amit Sharma. They will have 48 hours to finish watching the inspirational football movie once they start watching.
Maidaan chronicles the golden age of Indian football during the 1950s and 1960s, with Ajay Devgn portraying coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who led the Indian team to numerous victories. The film also stars Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Rudranil Ghosh in key roles.
Produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta, and Akash Chawla, the film features Madhur Mittal, Chaitanya Sharma, Tejas Ravishankar, Davinder Gill, Amartya Ray and Sushant Waydande.
A.R. Rahman has composed the soundtrack of the film, which features five songs sung by Javed Ali, Richa Sharma, Hiral Viradia, Nakul Abhyankar, Vaishali Samant, MC Heam and Rahman himself.
Maidaan, which released on April 11, clashed at the box office with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff-starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. It minted Rs 70.75 crore gross worldwide, as per industry-tracking portal Sacnilk.
