Ajay Devgn’s Vijay Salgaonkar and his family will soon be back on the big screen with the much-awaited sequel of Drishyam.

Directed by Abhishek Pathak, Drishyam 2 wrapped up shoot for the last schedule with a song featuring the Salgaonkar family in Goa. Both the films in this series are Hindi remakes of Malayalam flicks of the same name.

Drishyam revolves around the journey of the Salgaonkar family and how they work together to save themselves from conviction after committing an unexpected crime. The first part, directed by Nishikant Kamat, became a box office hit.

The second part of the film Drishyam 2 recently released a teaser which raised the bar higher. However, it does not reveal too much about the plot of the new movie. The mystery still remains as to whether or not Vijay Salgaonkar will confess to his crimes or come up with another plot twist to save his family.

Drishyam 2 has a stellar star cast of Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran and Ishita Dutta and is slated for a November 18th release in the theatres.
