Ajay Devgn dropped a recall teaser of Drishyam 2, the sequel to his hit 2015 film Drishyam. A pacy thriller with lots of twists and suspenses, Drishyam also starred Tabu and Shriya Saran.

Sharing the teaser on his Instagram account, Ajay wrote, “Do you remember the story of Vijay and his family? Or do you need a reminder? Drishyam 2 will hit the theaters on November 18, 2022.”

In the recall teaser, we get a glimpse of the first part of Drishyam. We are reminded of Sameer ‘Sam’ Deshmukh (Rishabh Chaddha), the son of the Inspector General of Goa Police, Meera Deshmukh (Tabu), who has been missing for three weeks.

Vijay Salgaonkar (Ajay Devgn) and his family are prime suspects in the case, and police question them about their whereabouts on October 2. The family members parrot the same line — they had gone to Panjim on that day to attend Swami Chinmayanand’s satsang. But are they telling the truth? While the first film answers this question, the sequel takes off where the previous one ended. Will the past come back to haunt the Salgaonkar family? Drishyam 2 will have the answers.

Drishyam 2 is directed by Abhishek Pathak. Apart from Ajay, the cast includes Shriya Saran, Tabu, Ishita Dutta, Rajat Kapoor, Mrunal Jadhav and Akshaye Khanna.
