Ajay Devgn’s Krishna strolls down memory lane, revisiting familiar places and reminiscing about his past romance with Tabu in the music video of Tuu, a fresh track from Neeraj Pandey’s upcoming romance drama Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha.
Dropped by record label Zee Music Company on Monday, the four-minute-23-second-long video begins with young Krishna (played by Shantanu Maheshwari) dashing through corridors, staircases, and across a street to catch a glimpse of his beloved (played by Saiee Manjrekar).
The camera then shifts to the present, where Tabu portrays Saiee’s character. Ajay Devgn’s Krishna, recently released from prison, reminisces about the time he had spent with her in his youth.
The video also captures Krishna’s memories from the time he was imprisoned. A series of scenes highlight how he had helped his fellow inmates, earning their love and respect.
The video weaves together themes of religious devotion and the lovers' devotion to each other, featuring clips from various festivals including Janmashtami and two Holi celebrations.
The video concludes with Ajay and Tabu reuniting during the second Holi celebration.
Produced under the banner of NH Studioz, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha revolves around two star-crossed lovers, Krishna (Ajay) and Tabu, who have been separated by fate. Charged with two murders, Krishna spends almost 23 years in prison. Meanwhile, Tabu gets married to Abhijeet (Jimmy Shergill).
Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is produced by Narendra Hirawat, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Sangeeta Ahir and Shital Bhatia.
The music for the film is composed by M.M. Kreem, while Praveen Kathkuloth serves as the editor.
Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is slated to arrive in cinemas on August 2.
Ajay Devgn was last seen in Vikas Bahl’s Shaitaan alongside R. Madhavan, Jyothika, Anngad Raaj and Janki Bodiwala. The 55-year-old actor is set to reprise his role as Bajirao Singham in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming cop drama Singham Again.
Tabu recently starred in Rajesh A Krishnan’s female-led heist comedy Crew alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon.
