Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s romantic drama Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha will hit theatres on August 2, the former announced on his official X account on Saturday.
Sharing a poster of the Neeraj Pandey directorial on X, Ajay wrote, "The wait will be over on August 2nd!”
The movie was previously slated to release on July 5. However, the makers revealed last month that the film has been postponed at the request of exhibitors and the distribution fraternity.
“Dear Friends, on request of the exhibitors and the distribution fraternity, we have collectively decided to shift the release date of our film, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. New Release date to be announced soon,” they said in a statement on social media.
Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is touted as an epic romantic drama spanning from 2002 to 2023. The film revolves around two lovers, played by Ajay and Tabu, who are destined to reunite after two decades. Shantanu Maheshwari plays the younger version of Ajay, while Saiee Manjrekar takes on the role of younger Tabu. Additionally, the movie features Jimmy Sheirgill as Tabu’s husband.
The original soundtrack of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is scored by Oscar-winning musician M.M. Kreem with lyrics penned by Manoj Muntashir. Presented by NH Studioz and produced by Narendra Hirawat, Kumar Mangat Pathak (Panorama Studios), Sangeeta Ahir, and Shital Bhatia, the film is a Friday Filmworks Production.
