Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha track Ae Dil Zara, dropped by the makers on Monday, offers a glimpse of the incomplete love story of Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s characters in the Neeraj Pandey directorial.
Dropped by Zee Music Company, the three-minute-44-second-long video begins with a shot of Ajay and Tabu’s characters meeting each other after the former gets released from prison. While Ajay tells her that he has at least five answers ready for all her questions, Tabu asks him whether he was reminded of her all this while. The scene then cuts to a still of their younger versions, played by Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar, who face the pain of separation.
Heart-wrenching moments between Shantanu and Saiee are showcased in the video. The music video also shows Ajay’s character getting imprisoned and separated from Tabu.
Ae Dil Zara is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Jubin Nautiyal in collaboration with Amala Chebolu and Rishabh Chaturvedi. It is composed by M.M. Kreem and penned by Manoj Muntashir.
Directed by Neeraj Pandey, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is produced by Narendra Hirawat, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Sangeeta Ahir and Shital Bhatia. The film is slated to arrive in cinemas on July 5.
Sharing the music video on Instagram, Ajay wrote, “Timeless love kaisa hota hai? Bilkul #AeDilZara jaisa hota hai. Song out now. #AuronMeinKahanDumTha in cinemas on 5th July.”
Ajay and Tabu first collaborated for their 1994 film Vijaypath, and went on to star in blockbuster hits like Drishyam and De De Pyaar De.
