Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has shared a belated birthday wish for daughter Aaradhya, who turned 13 on November 16, dropping a set of photos of their moments together.

In her note, Aishwarya also remembered her father, the late Krishnaraj Rai, on his birth anniversary. “Happy birthday to the eternal love of my life...dearest daddy-ajjaa and my darling Aaradhya…My heart...my soul...my forever and beyond,” she wrote, honouring her father, who passed away in 2017 after a long battle with cancer.

The carousel, shared by Aishwarya, shows Aaradhya bowing in respect before a picture of her late grandfather. A selfie shows Aishwarya standing with Aaradhya in front of her father’s portrait. One of the pictures also features Aishwarya’s mother Vrinda Rai. Another photo shows baby Aaradhya holding her maternal grandfather’s hand.

Aishwarya also shared a picture of a balloon with an inscription that reads, “You’re officially a teenager Aaradhya.” Aishwarya kisses a toddler Aaradhya in one of the pictures. The final photo of the series captures Aishwarya embracing Aaradhya during her recent birthday celebration in Mumbai.

However, fans noted that Aishwarya’s husband, Abhishek Bachchan, did not appear in any of the pictures. This has further fuelled speculations of an ongoing rift between Aishwarya and Abhishek.

On the work front, Abhishek has I Want To Talk, Be Happy, Housefull 5, and King in the pipeline.

Aishwarya, who turned 51 on November 1, last appeared in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan: Part II.
