Prime Video on Thursday dropped the trailer for Rahul Dholakia’s upcoming film Agni starring Pratik Gandhi, Divyenndu, Saiyami Kher and Jitendra Joshi. Touted as India’s first film on firefighters, the movie is set to hit the streamer on December 6.
The two-minute-43-second-long trailer shows Pratik Gandhi’s Vithal, a fierce fire-fighter, teaming up with his brother-in-law Samit, a policeman portrayed by Divyenndu. It begins with Udit Arora’s fireman speaking to children at a school about the role of firefighters in our society.
The scene then shifts to Pratik’s Vithal, who retorts that firemen put their lives on the line everyday when a reporter tells him that he exuded courage after dousing a fire at a building. Soon, we are introduced to Divyenndu’s corrupt policeman, who doesn’t get along well with Pratik’s Vithal.
After mysterious fires erupt in several parts of the city, Vithal and Samit begrudgingly team up to uncover the truth while fighting their differences in values and opinion.
Directed by Raees helmer Rahul Dholakia, the upcoming film is produced by Excel Entertainment and presented by Amazon MGM Studios. Agni is slated to hit Prime Video on December 6.
