Tum Bin 2 actor Aditya Seal has joined the cast of Kajol and Prabhudeva-starrer action film Maharagni: Queen of Queens, he confirmed on social media on Tuesday.
The actor-model reshared Instagram stories featuring a news report about the development by an entertainment magazine.
“It's a dream come true for me. I grew up watching Kajol's versatility as an actor and the God of Dance Prabhu Deva. Sharing screen space with both the stalwarts is surreal. I am ecstatic about this opportunity to work alongside such legendary actors,” he told the entertainment magazine.
Reportedly, in Maharagni, the 36-year-old actor will be seen opposite south star Samyukhta, who will make her Bollywood debut with this film.
The actor last appeared in the 2022 musical supernatural comedy film Rocket Gang, directed by Bosco Martis. He is also gearing up for Khel Khel Mein, set to hit the theaters on August 15. The film also stars Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan and Ammy Virk.
Directed by Charantej Uppalapati, Kajol will appear in a never-before-seen action avatar in Maharagni. This film reunites Kajol and Prabhudeva 27 years after the Rajiv Menon-helmed 1997 Tamil movie Minsara Kanavu.
Maharagni will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam in India. The film also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Jisshu Sengupta, Chhaya Kadam, and Pramod Pathak. The background score of the film is composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar.
