Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur-starrer crime thriller Gumraah managed to collect only Rs 3.8 crore nett in its first three days since release, lagging behind Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa and Nani-headlined Dasara, box office records highlighted on Monday.
Directed by Vardhan Ketkar, Gumraah is a remake of Magizh Thirumeni’s 2019 Tamil film Thadam. It had a lacklustre opening at the domestic box office with a collection of Rs 1.1 crore nett. The film managed to rake in Rs 1.2 crore nett on Saturday, followed by Rs 1.5 crore nett on Sunday, according to Box Office India.
Gumraah is expected to end its first week at the box office with a modest earning of Rs 6 crore nett, predicts Box Office India. The lifetime earnings of the film is likely to be around Rs 6.5 crore nett, their prediction further says.
Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa had a solid second weekend at the box office, raking in Rs 3.6 crore nett on Friday, followed by Rs 3.9 crore nett and Rs 4.2 crore nett on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. The total domestic collection of the action thriller now stands at Rs 71.59 crore nett.
Nani-starrer Dasara also continues to remain steady at the domestic box office. The revenge drama, starring Keerthy Suresh and Dheekshith Shetty alongside Nani, earned Rs 1.7 crore nett on Friday, Rs 2.15 crore nett on Saturday and Rs 2 crore nett on Sunday, taking its total domestic collection to Rs 74.95 crore nett so far.
