Actress Aditi Rao Hydari has recreated her Gajagaminee walk from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Netflix web series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar in a new video shot in Cannes, turning heads in a black-and-yellow dress from Gauri & Nainika’s 2024 Fall Winter collection.
Shared on Aditi’s Instagram stories, the video shows the actress walking down a crowded street in Cannes, replicating her Heeramandi style, after which she turns and smiles at the camera. She paired her high-low dress with white sneakers and drop earrings. A neatly-tied bun and a black umbrella adds a chic touch to her ensemble.
“Walking into Cannes like [this],” Aditi wrote alongside the clip shared on Wednesday.
Aditi’s Gajagaminee walk from Heeramandi has become popular and taken the internet by storm. The actress earned plaudits for her portrayal of Bibbo Jaan in the period drama series set in Lahore’s red light district during the Colonial period.
On Tuesday, Aditi shared pictures of herself from the French riviera in a black-and-white oversized shirt with balloon sleeves worn over a black spaghetti top and matching trousers.
