Actress Sushmita Sen has wrapped up the shoot for Aarya 3 and celebrated the occasion with a little jig with the Disney+ Hotstar show’s director Ram Madhvani.
On Sunday, Sushmita announced the news on Instagram along with a video of the celebration. Dressed in kurta-pyjama and a shawl, the Main Hoon Na actress is also seen hugging her co-star Sikander Kher.

Earlier this year, Sushmita had suffered a heart attack and had to undergo angioplasty. After a brief recuperating period, she was back in action, shooting for the third season of Aarya.
Created by Ram Madhvani and Sandeep Modi, the Disney+ Hotstar show is an official remake of the popular Dutch crime-drama Penoza, which revolves around a middle-aged woman and her struggle to save her family. In this series, the titular character’s world turns upside down when her husband is shot dead. A threat looms over her family due to her late husband’s possible involvement in an illegal drug racket. In the sophomore season, Aarya is seen combatting the dark world of crime and enemies closing in on her family.
Sushmita will be next seen in the biographical drama series Taali, created by Arjun Singgh Baran and Kartk D Nishandar. She will portray the role of transgender activist Gauri Sawant in the show.
