Sushmita Sen’s fierce single mother joins hands with old foes to ward off new competition from Ila Arun and Indraneil Sengupta’s mobsters in Disney+ Hotstar’s Aarya Season 3 trailer, dropped by the makers on Thursday.

The nearly-two-minute-long trailer sees Sushmita reprising her role as Aarya, this time fronting a bolder and more resilient avatar as she takes on the responsibility of handling her father’s opium empire. To make matters even more intense, she's now doing business with the Russians, who were once her adversaries. However, Aarya isn’t just dealing with her past enemies — she faces new foes in the form of Ila Arun and Indraneil Sengupta.

Promising a roller-coaster ride filled with unexpected twists and heart-stopping action sequences, the trailer keeps suspense about whether Aarya would emerge victorious once again against all odds or if her latest venture would be the end of her tumultuous journey.

Sushmita Sen's dedication to her role is evident in her rigorous preparation for the third season. She immersed herself in learning the Indian martial art form Kalaripayattu. During the shoot, Sushmita faced a heart attack but made a swift recovery and commenced shooting again.

Helmed by Ram Madhvani, Aarya 3 boasts an ensemble cast that includes Vikas Kumar, Sikander Kher and Vinod Rawat in pivotal roles. The crime drama will begin streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from November 3.
