Students are coming to watch the film even during the time of their exams and that is really heart-touching. An 11-year-old boy genuinely asked me whether I really knew the notation of the tune that makes ghosts sleep... just like it happened in the film. I didn’t have an answer. That’s by far the best reaction I got,” said Ghosal.
"The story is riveting and original. The originality of the story and the dialogues make Bhootpori a modern-day fairy tale," said Ritabhari Chakraborty
Director Soukarya Ghosal with wife Pooja, the costume designer of the film. "Can a ghost sleep? Can a ghost dream? What happens when a ghost falls asleep? If a ghost possesses someone then how can we stop him or her? Bhootpori answers all these questions. It talks about how to deal with a ghost. I feel this film will be more interesting to watch with your friends and family members," said Ghosal.
