Oscar-winning music composer A.R. Rahman has launched a new website that allows fans to explore exclusive curated content, he said in a social media post on Wednesday.
“Our team is excited to announce the launch of the official new website, https://arrahman.com Explore exclusive curated content, immerse yourself in the moments, and join us on a journey through the symphony of life. #EPI #WebsiteLaunch #ARRahman #ARRLive,” Rahman posted on X.
The landing page of the website features a photo of Rahman at his London 2023 concert. The website has three sections — composer, performance and awards. The composer section lists Rahman’s albums and soundtracks, right from Slumdog Millionaire to Lagaan, while the performance section lists details about his past and upcoming live concerts.
The awards section lists all the accolades Rahman has won till date, including the two Oscars, two Grammys and six National Film Awards.
On the work front, Rahman has composed soundtracks for five consecutive films — Lal Salaam, Ayalaan, Aadujeevitham, Maidaan, and Amar Singh Chamkila. He has Dhanush’s Raayan in the pipeline.
The Dil Se composer will also be conducting live concerts in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore on July 27 and August 31, respectively.
Recently, the musician attended the 77th Cannes Film Festival to promote his upcoming documentary feature Headhunting to Beatboxing, which explores the Naga tribe and is directed by Rohit Gupta. Additionally, Rahman composed the music for Pritan Ambrose’s film Can I Go Home Now?, which premiered at the festival.
