A.R. Rahman will be performing live across Europe, including in major cities like Paris and Zurich, for the first time in autumn 2023, the Oscar-winning composer confirmed on social media on Tuesday.
“Presenting to you the official tour dates for the ‘AR Rahman Live In Europe and UK Tour’. This tour is very special as we take stage in iconic venues for the very first time ever in Europe and of course to return to London! Follow the ticket links below to grab your tickets! See you soon,” Rahman posted on X.
The musician will begin his tour in France on September 27. “Paris!! It gives me immense pleasure in announcing the first ever ‘AR Rahman Live’ experience in your city! You have waited so patiently for so long and here we are,” Rahman also posted on X, along with a one-minute-long teaser video of the upcoming concert.
After Paris, Rahman will perform in Germany on September 29. The concert, presented by Tamil.de & A.J.Entertainment, will be held at Westfalenhallen, Dortmund.
The composer will perform in Switzerland on October 7. The musical evening will be presented by Thaalam Media at Hallenstadion, Zurich.
Rahman will return to the UK for a concert on September 30. Hamsini Entertainment, the organisers behind AR Rahman’s 2017 concert at the Wembley arena, London, will present ‘AR Rahman live in London 2023’, which is slated to take place at O2 Arena.
