The new show Sunrise Bhojonbilashi, directed by Arijit Seth, marks Hoichoi's debut in non-fiction. Sunrise Bhojonbilashi offers an immersive journey through West Bengal’s diverse culinary landscape, seamlessly blending food and travel into an eye-soothing experience. Hosted by RJ-actor Somak, an avid foodie, the series traverses Bolpur, Purulia, Murshidabad, Bankura, and Calcutta.

Each episode features a celebrity guest who joins Somak in exploring the history, culture, and flavours that define each region's cuisine. A standout feature of the show is Kumropotash, a quirky mobile food truck inspired by Sukumar Ray’s iconic character. Positioned at locations like Victoria Memorial, Panchkote Raj Fort, Susunia Hills and others, this food truck serves as the culinary epicentre of each episode, anchoring the show’s travel component.
