8 A.M. Metro trailer: Gulshan Devaiah and Saiyami Kher strike up unlikely bond on the metro

Directed by Raj R, the romcom drama is slated to arrive in cinemas on May 19

Saiyami Kher and Gulshan Devaiah strike up an unlikely bond on the metro as they board the vehicle every day at the same time in the trailer of their upcoming romantic drama 8 A.M. Metro, which was released by Sony Music India on Wednesday.

The two-minute-32-second-long trailer introduces us to Saiyami’s Iravati, a working woman who commutes via the metro everyday. She sees Gulshan’s character on the same metro everyday. The clip goes on to show the two characters forming a bond over friendly discourses, with Iravati sharing how she experiences frequent panic attacks and her poems. We also get a peek into Iravati’s domestic life — she is living with her husband and two kids.

Sharing the video on her Instagram, Saiyami wrote, “Sometimes a simple metro ride can lead to an unforgettable destination 🚇❤️Watch the heartwarming story of two strangers who experience friendship & bonding while riding an 8 AM Metro. Trailer Out Now 🎬 #8AmMetro releasing in cinemas on May 19, 2023.”

8 A.M. Metro is directed by Raj R, who helmed 2019’s Telugu-language film Mallesham, and produced by Raj R, Kishore Ganji. The poetry used in the film is written by Gulzar. The movie will arrive in theatres on May 19.
