With a staggering 27 nominations this year and 75 in total for its four seasons, HBO's Succession bid farewell with a triumphant win in the best drama series category. The Roy family secured six awards, with Kieran Culkin winning best actor in drama, Sarah Snook winning best actress in drama, and Matthew Macfadyen securing the coveted best supporting actor award in drama.

FX's unconventional comedy series The Bear emerged victorious with the best comedy series award. Jeremy Allen White bagged the best actor trophy, while his co-stars Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach took home the awards for best supporting actress and actor in comedy.

Netflix's Beef emerged as the unequivocal best limited series of 2023, receiving well-deserved wins for actors Ali Wong and Steven Yeun as well as director and writer Lee Sung Jin.

Hannah Waddingham and Colman Domingo presented the prestigious Governors Award to GLAAD, emphasising the importance of realistic LGBTQ representation in media.
