Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon, Allu Arjun, Waheeda Rehman and Shreya Ghoshal received their National Award trophies from President Droupadi Murmu at the 69th National Film Awards on Tuesday at New Delhi’s Vigyan Bhawan. Here’s a look.
Alia Bhatt won the Best Actress Award for her performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2022 film Gangubai Kathiawadi. The actress wore her wedding sari, an ivory Sabyasachi one, to the event.

Kriti Sanon also received the Best Actress Award for her 2021 film Mimi, directed by Laxman Utekar. The 33-year-old actress attended the event with her parents, Rahul and Geeta Sanon.
Allu Arjun, who bagged the Best Actor Award for his role in the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise, posed for the lens with Alia and Kriti.
Allu poses with veteran actress Waheeda Rehman who was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award.
Pankaj Tripathi received the Best Supporting Actor Award for his performance in Mimi.
Shreya Ghoshal won the Best Female Playback Singer Award for her song Mayava Chayava from the Tamil film Iravin Nizhal, helmed by R. Parthiban. This is the fifth time the singer has won a National Film Award.
R. Madhavan was conferred with the Best Feature Film Award for his directorial Rocketry: The Nambi Effect.
Actress Pallavi Joshi received the Best Supporting Actress Award for her role in Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files.
Filmmaker Karan Johar bagged the Special Jury Award for producing the Sidharth Malhotra-Kiara Advani-starrer film Shershaah.
Music director Devi Sri Prasad won the Best Music Director Award for his work in Pushpa: The Rise.
