Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 12th Fail claimed the best film award, with its lead actor Vikrant Massey clinching the best actor trophy, at the 2024 Critics’ Choice Awards India held in Mumbai on March 12. Shefali Shah took home the trophy for best actress for Three of Us.
The awards: recognising excellence in cinema, online content and short films: were given out at a star-studded ceremony with the likes of Karan Johar, Vidya Balan, Kiran Rao, Anil Kapoor, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal in attendance.
Among the other big winners were Reema Maya’s short film Nocturnal Burger, which picked up three awards, and Sudip Sharma’s Netflix thriller Kohrra, which bagged the best web series trophy.
