The trailer of the upcoming Malayalam film 19(1)(a), starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen in the lead roles, was released by Disney+ Hotstar on social media.

Written and directed by Indhu VS and backed by Anto Joseph and Neeta Pinto, the film stars Indrajith Sukumaran and Indrans besides Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya.

The trailer features Nithya as a photocopy shop owner who is given a bunch of pages by Vijay Sethupathi, who supposedly appears to be a writer. The title refers to Article 19 (1) of the Constitution of India, which provides the fundamental rights in the nature of freedom, including freedom of speech and expression.

19(1)(a) will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on July 29.

Sita Ramam

Vyjayanthi Movies has released a new teaser of their upcoming romantic-drama film Sita Ramam, starring Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna and Sumanth.

The production house revealed new footage from the highly-anticipated Telugu-language movie and said that the trailer announcement will be made later on Saturday.

Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and bankrolled by Vyjayanthi Movies, Sita Ramam is set to arrive in theatres on August 5.

Simon Daniel

Malayalam superstar Mammootty released the trailer of Vineeth Kumar’s upcoming film Simon Daniel. Directed by Sajan Antony and written by Rakesh Kuryakos, the film is produced under the banner of Maigres Productions.

Apart from Vineeth Kumar, the cast of the film includes Divya Pillai, Vijeesh Vijayan, Sreeraman and Sunil Sugatha.

The trailer gives us a glimpse of a treasure hunt adventure with supernatural elements.

The film is billed as the first-ever treasure hunt mystery-thriller movie in Malayalam. Simon Daniel will release on August 19.
