What are the key issues that will determine your vote?
Based on key issues confronting our country, I will vote for a candidate or a party whose priorities are healthcare, education, climate change, economic policies, social justice and foreign affairs
What the new govt should do?
Prioritise policies that directly address education reform, aimed at making education more affordable and accessible, while reducing the burden of student debt. Climate action is another critical area where decisive measures are needed to combat climate change, invest in renewable energy and protect our environment. Additionally, healthcare access must be expanded, particularly in terms of mental health services, and steps should be taken to address disparities in healthcare outcomes. Economic opportunities, including job creation and support for entrepreneurship, are essential for securing our future. Social justice reforms, such as promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, and addressing issues within the criminal justice system, are also imperative
What the new govt shouldn’t do?
Overlook the voices and concerns of young people. It’s crucial for the government to engage with and prioritise the needs and aspirations of the next generation in policy-making and decision-making processes
