NEET UG Counselling 2024 Registration Concludes Today - Essential Steps and Key Dates

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is set to conclude the registration and choice-filling process for the NEET UG Counselling 2024 today, August 20. Eligible candidates who have not yet submitted their applications can do so through the official MCC website (mcc.nic.in). The payment facility will be functional till 3 PM and the choice-locking window will be available from 4 PM to 11.55 PM today.

Deemed Universities

• Non-Refundable Fee - ₹5000
• Refundable Security Amount - ₹2,00,000

15% All India Quota/ Central Universities (DU, AMU, BHU and Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi)/AFMC& ESI/ All AIIMS/ JIPMER/BSc Nursing

• Non-Refundable Fee - ₹1000 (UR/EWS) and ₹500 (SC/ST/OBC/PwD)
• Refundable Security Amount - ₹10,000 (UR/EWS), ₹5000 (SC/ST/OBC/PwD), and ₹11,000 (UR-Central Universities/AFMC/ESI)

Once the registration and choice filling is complete, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will release the seat allotment results. Candidates must promptly report to the assigned institutions to complete the admission process. Those who do not secure a seat in the first round will have the opportunity to participate in subsequent rounds of counselling.

Key Dates

• Choice Filling and Locking: Ongoing and must be completed by August 20, 2024.
• Seat Allotment Processing: The first round’s seat allotment processing facility will be functional from August 21 to August 22, 2024.
• Seat Allotment Result: The first round of seat allotment will be announced on August 23, 2024.
• Reporting to Allotted Colleges: Candidates must report to their allotted colleges between August 24 and August 29, 2024, for document verification and admission confirmation.

The counselling process is conducted in multiple rounds followed by a stray round, ensuring that all eligible candidates have the opportunity to secure a seat in their desired medical institution.
