Tripura NEET UG 2024 Counselling; DME Extends Choice-Filling Deadline – How to Apply

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tripura, has extended the deadline for the choice-filling process for the NEET UG 2024 counselling. Registered candidates can now fill in their choices until August 27 by visiting the official website dmeonline.tripura.gov.in.

Steps to Fill Choices for Tripura NEET UG Counselling 2024

1. Visit the official website dmeonline.tripura.gov.in.
2. Log into the candidate’s user profile available on the homepage with the User ID, Password and Verification Code.
3. Fill in the aspirants’ preferred choices.
4. Submit choices and download the confirmation page.
5. Download and save a hard copy for future reference.

As per the revised schedule, the choice-filling process, which was initially set to begin on August 23, will now be open from August 24 noon and will close on August 27 noon. In addition, a 24-hour window was provided on August 23 until 3PM for candidates to recheck and update their submitted documents, allowing them to make corrections or add any necessary updates.

The DME authorities have stated that seat allocation will be based on candidates’ NEET scores, preferences, and the availability of seats in medical and dental colleges across Tripura. The allocation process will follow the merit list and applicable reservation criteria. Once seats are assigned, candidates must decide whether to accept or decline the offer. Those who accept a seat can download their provisional allotment letter from the official website.

Upon acceptance, candidates are required to report to their assigned college within the specified timeframe. During this stage, they must submit necessary documents, complete the verification process, pay the admission fees, and follow other required procedures.
